Children put everything in perspective
It’s true when they say it takes a village
But if we are totally objective
This? Existential crisis of privilege

The grass is always greener, they tell me
You don’t know about the hidden struggle
But from familiar shackles to break free
Is to find new challenges to juggle

To find passion, purpose, and true meaning
At the top, with self-actualization
First world problems of privilege feeling
Like I could use another vacation

Do not tell it me it could be worse, I know
Instead just tell me the right way to go
