That was hilarious.. Another one to add to the long collection. I have quite some ads like this.. One about a Mac gamer as well.

Kinda chic to order the offal. And it's sooooo goo Kinda chic to order the offal. And it's sooooo good.

Is it just me or are there more Filipino restaurants around Vancouver than we had growing up? I am 💯 here for it. And by "here," I mean Kimshaker on Kingsway in Burnaby.

On our table:
💥 Lumpia Shanghai 9 pieces ($12.50) - Filipino style pork and vegetable spring roll
💥 Deep fried beef lung ($10.00) - Lightly seasoned with dipping sauce
💥 Lechon silog ($19.99) - With garlic rice and two fried eggs
💥 BBQ pork skewer rice meal ($21.99) - Two skewers with rice
💥 Sago't gulaman ($6.99)

My favourite was the fried beef lung. It had a nice crispness to the outside with a squishy chew on the inside, full of rich, offal-y good umami. Not for everyone, but definitely for me. Staff said it's a popular street snack in the Philippines.

And they had 💣 @yothatssobomb 's video playing in the restaurant too. So that's cool.

Total bill, with tax and tip, came to about $86. You can get 15% off Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 5pm. Free parking around back and on the side streets north of Kingsway.
