Walk Away, Walk Away

And so we find ourselves at another Wednesday. That means it’s time once again to go on a tour of the blogosphere (do people still use that term?) and see what other bloggers have had to say in the last few days.

We start with Darren Barefoot who writes in praise of walking. Living in an area where most amenities are in walking distance is a definite plus and it also gives work-at-home folk the motivation to go outside each and every day. It’s for both your mental and your physical health!

Next, Henri Junttila provides us with 10 simple steps to living a truly great life. It’s not about fancy meals and fast cars. Instead, happiness stems from the simplest of things, like being lazy, being kind, allowing yourself to fail, and cherishing relationships. Life is far too short to be grumpy all the time.

A very special day is coming up for Cicy Chan. She’s giving us a sneak peek by showing us her handmade wedding invites. She combined some great-looking Moo MiniCards with a unique “tie the knot” hand-printed card. There’s a lot more preparation to be done, for sure, but these invitations look fantastic!

As social as we become, we still don’t know that much about one another. Jeff Cutler is flipping that trend with his ten facts about me post. It follows a Twitter meme that “give people a little insight into who I am and what makes me tick.” Did you know he once had a try-out with the MLB?

And finally, Robert Park chimes in with his predictions for the 2012 NHL playoffs. The Canucks kick off their first round series with the Los Angeles Kings tonight and Robert sees Vancouver taking that series in seven games, eventually making it to the finals where they beat the Capitals in 7 to hoist the Lord Stanley’s Cup. Personally, I’d love to see a Vancouver-Pittsburgh final. What about you?
