Albert Einstein Totally Creeps Me Out

January 18th, 2009 by Michael Kwan

Albert Einstein Robot Head

If you happened to be following me on Twitter at the time, then you may have already noticed my mention of the totally creepy Albert Einstein robot at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Yes, I managed to venture out of that ballin’ hotel room at Encore.

While at the totally geeked out convention, I got to see all sorts of cool technology like the latest netbooks, a 3G touchscreen watch phone, and some random video game accessories. That said, the most eye-catching piece of tech had to be this talking android bearing the likeness of the man with the theory of relativity. It doesn’t get much creepier than this.

Was this more fascinating than meeting the guy from Will It Blend? Maybe not, but the chess-laying decapitated head of Albert Einstein will be forever engraved in my mind. I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like working around animatronics all day long.

Hats off to the creator of the Sir Albeit Einstein robot… he is a great inspiration.

    2. [...] CEO of a multinational company. It’s not normal to be a millionaire. It’s not normal to invent the theory of relativity and then get resurrected as a talking robot [...]

    3. Wow, that thing is freaky, especially that it talks too! That would make a great Halloween mask.
