Top 20 SNES Games: Part One
March 12th, 2008 by Michael KwanThe Super Nintendo, known as the Super Famicom in Japan, is arguably the best video game console ever created. It may not be as powerful as today’s PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but the SNES has a huge wealth of unforgettable video games. From side-scrolling brawlers like Final Fight to incredible sports titles like NHL 97, the system really did have it all.
Stuttering Craig from ScrewAttack also recognizes the awesomeness of the Super Nintendo, opting to provide a top 20 list instead of his usual top 10. The classic console really is that great.
Did one of your favorites make his list? The video above shows entries 11 through 20, so maybe your all-time favorite is in his top ten! I’m glad to see fighting games like Killer Instinct and Street Fighter II: Turbo make the list. I do love them fighting games.

The other day I was browsing the Wii Shop and noticed that there are quite a few SNES games available for download. It was a great game system and even today it is fun to have some retro gaming and hook it back up.
