Welcome to yet another hump day. People have been referring to Wednesday as hump day for some time now, because they say that if you can get over this mid-week hump, then Thursday and Friday should be a relative walk in the park. If only the life of a freelance writer was that easy. It’s not so simple making money online, so having the opportunity to rest — just for a moment — is eternally valuable. With that in mind, let’s have a look at a few lighter-hearted posts from the blogosphere this week.

Scott Adams from The Dilbert Blog (yes, the real Dilbert) took a moment to discuss the issue of agism. Yes, I realize that this is a little heavier than the other posts I’m speedlinking to today, but it’s worth discussing. Is John McCain too old to be elected US President?

Justine Ezarik from Tasty Blog Snack loves making fun videos for her blog, but one of her latest entries wasn’t wholly produced by the blonde Apple lover from Pittsburgh. Instead, she got involved in the Dead iPod Song, a ditty done up by Rhett and Link. There are a lot of Apple fanboy videos on the net, but this one has to be one of the most amusing.

Darren Barefoot has been spending the past few months in a whole different part of the world. Although Morocco’s official language is Arabic, everyone seems to speak and read French too. As a result, you’ll find all sorts of bilingual signage, including this creative Oulmes mineral water label. They’ve intermingled the two languages into a single logo.

Jeremy Schoemaker is better known to most folks as Shoemoney. He’s on the cusp of launching a new website and he needs MMA content writers. If you’re looking to break into a freelance writing career, Fighters.com could prove to your big break. Working with Jeremy would certainly be quite the experience, I’m sure.

Last but not least, Ilker from The Thinking Blog told me about a post on GR8 Egypt that really challenges your math abilities. If you can solve this, then you might not be thinking enough. Alternatively, if you can’t, you could be thinking too much. Confused? Good.
