Last time, I said I can’t see where to go
Cannot approach life with indifference
Even if it hurts me, I have to know
Because there is no bliss in ignorance

But no one knows what they’re doing either
Play it by ear, a burden we all bear
Putting on an act, but need a breather
Putting more makeup on the masks we wear

But day by day, we have to make it work
Just indulge in the little things sometimes
Just take on life’s challenges with a smirk
Listen to jingle bells and pleasant chimes

      Sitting here looking at a Christmas tree
      With some coffee and productivity
