Everyone likes winning free stuff, right? I know I do.
As you may already know, I was in Las Vegas earlier this month for International CES 2014. It’s the biggest consumer electronics trade show in North America, featuring all sorts of gadgets and tech for every aspect of our increasingly digital and connected lifestyles. Smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, giant TVs, computer hardware, home automation… you name it and it’s probably at CES.
Just as I did last year (and the several years before that), I’ve compiled up some swag from the show to give away to one lucky Beyond the Rhetoric reader.
What Can I Win?
Up for grabs is everything that you see in the image at the top of this post.
- Cooler Master notebook
- ADATA colored pencils
- Sixense STEM t-shirt
- Diamond Multimedia t-shirt
- MSI dragon business card holder
- InWin iBite smartphone holder
- Thermaltake Tt eSports wristband USB drive
- Rosewill 2600mAh portable USB battery
The total retail value is unknown, since several of these items are promotional and not available in stores. I guess you could say these prizes are priceless. 🙂
How Do I Enter?
I will admit that I have an ulterior motive for this giveaway. I recently published my new book, Beyond the Margins, and I want to build up some attention for it.
So, the way that you enter the great BTR CES 2014 swag giveaway is by sharing this Beyond the Margins photo on Facebook. Click on that link, click on the “share” button, and let your friends know about my “indispensable guide for first-time freelance writers.”
Any likes and comments would be appreciated too, but not necessary.
Bonus Entry: Submit a comment on this blog post with your favorite gadget or tech item from CES 2014. This is a bonus entry, so you must complete the Facebook share above first to be eligible.
The winner will be picked at random from all entries received. If you do the Facebook share and the blog comment, then you have two entries in the contest.
When Is the Deadline?
The giveaway will be open for two weeks, so the deadline for entries is Tuesday, February 11 at 11:00am Pacific time.
The contest is open to residents in the United States and Canada.
If you live elsewhere in the world, I can ship to somewhere in Canada or the US. Alternatively, if you’ll cover the shipping costs to your international address, that’s fine too. If you’re unsure, send me a message and we’ll work things out.
Good Luck!
I have to say that while I am not a gamer anymore, the CORSAIR Raptor K40 keyboard and M45 mouse would be great on my desk attached to the dock at work. I just feel that they would work great even in my work environment.
Maybe just the kid in me.
