If you’re thinking that the top thinkers for January 2010 look familiar, you’d be thinking correctly. That’s because the five fine folks who topped the list for last month happen to be exactly the same five people from December 2009. Go figure.
It doesn’t take too much to get featured in this space, so continue to leave those comments on this blog and you just might crack the list for February. After all, the fifth spot was taken by someone who only left a total of five comments last month. That’s barely more than one a week!
Ray Ebersole takes the top spot again for January. On his blog, he recently wrote a piece comparing the iPhone App Store and BlackBerry App World. Having all sorts of specialized applications on smartphones is quickly becoming the norm. There’s more to enjoy than just far apps, you know.
Betshopboy gives us his brief retrospective as well as some thoughts for the coming year in his most recent post. He says goodbye to 2009 and hello to 2010. Last year was eventful and this year could be hopeful. Here’s to a happy and healthy new year.
EarningStep seems to be off to a very good start, because his January earning report reveals that the month was his best to date. He launched a new site and he managed to make $1,500 more than he did the month before. Congratulations! Keep that momentum going!
Ed Lau takes a moment to give us his opinion on the Apple iPad. The new tablet is set to take the world by storm, but Ed is disappointed at some of its shortcomings. Even though it’s just a fancy photo frame, he feels that the $500 price point makes the iPad worthy of an impulse buy, if only for its novelty.
DCR decided to fumble through his drawers and dive through his closet, dusting off his old Wacom Tablet for another go-around. I got one for Christmas and it seems like a neat tool, but Dan found that he can’t draw and that’s why he hasn’t used it all that much. It’s useful for photomanipulation too. How about giving that a try, Mr. Rinnert?
Thanks for the link.
As for photomanipulation, I guess I’ve grown used to doing it with a mouse. It feels weird doing it blind with a pen. I guess it’s just a matter of learning it. Doesn’t feel natural as drawing direct does. Maybe it’ll be easier with an iPad. đ
Thanks for the plug. Always a pleasure to read and comment here on BTR.
Thanks for the shoutout! I realized I’m so slacking behind in my blogging.
