Yes, I know that December hasn’t quite drawn to a close just yet, but I have a burning suspicion that the list of top thinkers for the month probably won’t change in the next couple of days. It seems that Beyond the Rhetoric attracts the same comment-writers on a fairly regular basis. While I certainly appreciate their input, I’d love to see some more vocal members join in on the conversation too. Don’t be scared; we don’t bite.
The top thinkers for December look a lot like the top thinkers of November. The rankings change a little and one name has been swapped out for another, but they’re pretty close.
Ray Ebersole sits at the top of the list yet again. The IT professional from Florida finally received what he asked for. Instead of getting socks and underwear for Christmas, he got a new JanSport backpack. That’s one major leap in the right mobile direction!
Betshopboy climbs up one spot to nab the second spot for December. He was quick to wish everyone a very merry Twitmas, including some of his favorite bloggers and other online personalities in that post. It seems that I am dashing through the snow, but I don’t have a one horse open sleigh.
EarningStep rounds out the top three thinkers. He’s still just as interested in making money online as ever, but he knows how to have a little fun too. He has fallen in love with Modern Warfare 2. I tried this game the other night with some friends and while I wasn’t very good, I can see how it can be a lot of fun. Boom! Headshot!
DCR spends some time believing, some time acting, and even more time achieving. More recently, he decided to have some fun with numbers, working out that it would take 255,303 people working their entire lives in order to pay off just one year of federal government spending in the United States.
Ed Lau sneaks into the fifth and final spot, despite being known as one of the lazier members of Dot Com Pho. He was the first one to show up for lunch last week, so maybe he’s changed. I do have to say that Ed is quite the chef, though, showing off his roast pork belly skills. That looks delicious!
Is it a challenge finding an interesting post on my blog? Hehe.
Thanks for the link.
I’ll have to get Speedy back here. He hasn’t made the list since August. I think he’s probably #6 this month. I thought I saw him at (4) earlier in the month.
I bet it is very challenging for Michael to find a post on mine for a linkback.
Thanks for the link. The backpack is quite useful. I will post a before picture of what it replaces.
I’m wondering what Betshopboy was thinking about us when he had us dashing through the snow; For our lives from a giant killer snowman. đ
I hope Ed made it back to Canada without a strip search at the US airport!
Happy New Year to everyone!
I don’t know if he had to go through “secondary screening,” but I do hear that Ed is back in Canada.
So that’s what they call it nowadays. ROFL…. đ
I need to get myself back into this list of top thinkers. Congrats to the current top five for their contributions.
Thanks for the link MK.
Did I accomplish my objective of appearing on the “Top Thinkers” list for all 12 months of 2009?
