Words cannot describe. The great thing about professional sports is that you can never know what’s going to happen, but this makes it incredibly difficult for people like me to make NFL predictions.
As you can see through the chart above, I went an abysmal 4/15 for NFL Week 14. Some of those were due the spread, but I was surprised to see the Eagles triumph over the Giants. I thought the Super Bowl champs could overcome the issues off the field. Yes, let’s all blame Plaxico.
Not surprisingly, some of my favorite games of the week involved the NFC South. Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints won a tight match against the Atlanta Falcons, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the rising Carolina Panthers. It’ll be interesting to see if three teams from that division can make it to the playoffs. In the AFC, the playoff picture is just as interesting, as we might be seeing the Miami Dolphins making the post-season. Who would have predicted that?
I’m still hopeful for a Subway Super Bowl between the Giants and the Jets, but neither team has been doing quite as well as they have in prior weeks…. kind of like me.
I really hope you didn’t put money on this stuff.
Nah, just bragging rights. And this is nothing to brag about.
