Another month has come and gone, so it’s time once again to give a little recognition to the people who have the most to say on Beyond the Rhetoric. Well, aside from me, of course.
As you may have noticed, I usually combine my What’s Up Wednesday post with some shout-outs to the top commentators for the previous month, but next Wednesday is so far away. I couldn’t keep you guys waiting that long. For this reason, you’re going to get an extra dose of speedlinking. Don’t worry. All of these guys have great blogs for you to consider. Oddly enough, there’s no love for the ladies this month… I guess they’re not being vocal enough.
Just like last month and the month before, Jorge is once again the top commentator for July 2008. Just like in June, Jorge contributed a total of 41 comments on Beyond the Rhetoric. That’s more than one a day; talk about dedication. If you haven’t been to Jorge’s blog in a while, I suggest you check it out. He’s rocking a new theme, along with a super cobra.
Putting in just two fewer comments that Jorge is Nick from Romandock. Aside from yakking it up on my blog and winning contests at every opportunity, Nick’s been thinking about the future. Always looking forward, Nick!
In third place is DCR, who you may know a little better as Dan C. Rinnert. He’s also the guy with the most entries in my Make Fun of John Chow contest (winner to be announced next week). He may not be making mogul money with his blog just yet, but his July 2008 earnings are a vast improvement over previous months.
With 20 comments in July, betshopboy grabs fourth place. He says that he is blogging his way to success, but lately his mind has been on the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Is it really one world, one dream?
Bringing up the rear is Stephen Fung and his Happy Scooter. He’s been involved in quite the rivalry with John Chow over where Dot Com Pho should be, so it’s nice to see that the two have finally declared a cease fire. The crew can finally be reunited!
Thanks again to everyone who comments on this blog. Without you, this blog would be nothing.
Thank you for giving us content to comment. đ
Congratulations to the top commentators for the month of July.
Holy crap. I need to get back to work. If I’m on this list, I must be totally slacking off.
I am a nobody to pass judgements or champion noble causes like human rights issue, racisim et al.
I just want to enjoy the Olympic Games (wherever it is held) purely on the basis of sporting excellence the Games bring out.
Call me navie or whatever, but please don’t let politics and human rights issues snuff out the Olympic spirit.
Thanks for the link.
Do I get a special prize for having the most entries? LOL. Or, do I just get punished by John Chow–database issues, yeah, sure. I know it was that he saw my entries… đ
Thanks for the link love…I need to get back on track with the whole posting thing so that you have something new to link to đ
