On Wednesday, I talked about the tour we took of the Union Gospel Mission and how the organization does fantastic work for the “hungry, hurting and homeless of Greater Vancouver”, especially those living in the Downtown Eastside.
As an added incentive for donors, I offered to give away a free Union Gospel Mission baseball cap and Nalgene-style water bottle to anyone who made a donation (of any size) and made a comment on this post.
Well, I originally opened the contest to anyone in the Lower Mainland, but since no one from there entered, I have no choice but to ship the free stuff to the only person who commented on that post, telling me that they donated: Etienne Teo.
I realize you don’t live in Vancouver, but you deserve it! Etienne, use the contact form to send me your mailing address and I’ll get it out your way.
Don’t quote me but I think he lives in Singapore.
To my knowledge, yes that is correct. Somewhere in Asia anyways. But I just got an email from him for an… alternative solution. Future blog post here I come.
Singapore? That’s a long distance to ship it
thanks for the gift..but i will contact Michael kwan for something i guess would be a cheaper solution instead…`
Etienne Teo, my congratulations!!
haha- I look forward to seeing what the alternative is. It’s always great to win when you didn’t even know you entered. Congrats Etienne.
