Just a quick reminder to everyone out there that there is only one week left in the iPod Nano Contest. As you recall, Ed and I have decided to collaborate on a new hockey blog and we need your help to decide on an awesome new domain!
As you recall, we are giving away TWO iPod Nanos in this contest.
The bigger prize is the black 8GB iPod Nano (which retails at US$250) and in order to win that, you will have to submit the best hockey blog domain out of all the entries we receive. Email your suggestion to hockeyblogideas@yahoo.com and ensure that the domain is available for purchase. It must be a dot com and it must be related to hockey.
The other prize is a 4GB iPod Nano (retail price: US$200). This will be given away in a random draw to everyone who writes a blog post following all the backlink instructions:
Make a post on your blog about this contest. Link to Michael’s blog (btr.michaelkwan.com) using the anchor text “freelance writing” and to Ed’s blog (ededition.com) using “personal blog.” Don’t mention your domain idea in your post, because some goober might go and register it on us, effectively nullifying your entry.

Make sure you read all the contest details to make sure that your entry is valid. Ed and I will probably have to take some time to consider all the different domains that are being suggested to us, so we’re not sure when the winners will be announced. It’ll definitely be before hockey season, that’s for sure. Go puck wild!
Thanks for the reminder! I still want to get in on this…
Any idea on how many entries you have for your hockey site?
We have over 100 domain suggestions. I haven’t had a chance to tally up all the entries for the random draw yet.
I’ve entered good luck to everyone else
I’ve also entered, so excited about the deadline..cant wait for it to come.
Speaking of Hockey, are the new Canucks’ jerseys unveiled tomorrow?
Yup. I believe the event begins at 11am at GM Place (free tickets available at Ticketmaster), with the actual unveiling at around 12:30pm.
