Although I don’t make nearly as much money online as a certain root of all evil, I’m glad that I get to do what I love — write about things that interest me — and actually get paid for it. This blog is far from being my primary source of income, but I still feel that it is appropriate for me to give a hearty thank you to sponsors and advertisers who have helped to keep Beyond the Rhetoric alive and kicking.
Text Link Ads
- After I wrote a review of their ad network, I was approached by Exoclick about getting their link featured on my site on a long-term basis. We agreed to terms, so expect to see the link to their Pay Per Click Blog for at least the next few months. You’ll also notice that I am running their ads (as a skyscraper) in my sidebar, near the bottom.
- The first sidebar TLA that I sold on this blog was to Marapets and their Games. They’ve renewed for a couple months in a row now, so they’re obviously getting a good rate of return. I appreciate your continued support!
- The newest addition the Featured Site family is T-Mobile USA. They bought a link just a couple days ago to promote their Cell Phones. I guess since I’m a relative expert in the field, they felt it was apt to advertise here. 🙂

Paid Reviews
I don’t get very many of these each month, so I very much appreciate it whenever I get an email asking for a review on my site. I do a lot of reviews for John Chow, so I’ve certainly developed a knack of punching out reviews of websites, affiliate programs, and the like. Here are a couple of reviews that I wrote in the past couple of months.
- Andrew Rouhafzai went on a spree some time back trying to promote his A2 Network Business Blog. He purchased a review from Jane May, because he thought she was hot. I may not be as hot as Jane May, but Andy decided that a review here was worthwhile too. Check out Andrew Rouhafzai and his A2 Network Business Blog.
- Phil Van Treuren launched Contest Blogger only a short while back, but because he had an excellent idea and a strong drive to succeed, that blog has now grown considerably. In fact, his RSS subscriber count is now a very hearty 218 (and rising). Contest Blogger is great because it puts every blog contest in one convenient location.

Thank You! Come Again!
Again, thanks to everyone who has supported and/or sponsored this blog. Without you, I would have never been called a professional blogger.
Thanks for the update on your sponsors. It gives others a great idea of how they can move forward with their blog…
I signed up to Exoclick through your banner at the top as an advertiser. I setup my campaign and made a deposit, but it seems like it never went live. I’ll have to check up on this again soon.
on your sidebar at the bottom right, i see the exoclick ads, but it seems to have a big gap from the ads link to their own home page link..was that suppose to be for a picture ad?
That’s Exoclick’s problem. Their 160×600 skyscraper is a little strange like that and I’m not sure why.
