The fake Stephen Fung is running a contest on his site, wherein the winner will be treated to a free copy of NBA Live 07 for the PC. All you have to do to enter is to leave a comment on the contest page. But there are a couple of things that make this contest different from all the others on the web.
First off, Stephen is donating a (legitimate) copy of NBA Live 07, FIFA 07, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 — all for the PC — to BC Children’s Hospital. All those kids in there will surely appreciate this, because it means that they can actually entertain themselves while at the hospital, and we all know how valuable a positive spirit can be to a speedy recovery.
But wait, there’s more. He’s not just giving a game away to a lucky commentator…
I’d like to continue with my commitment as a Dot Com Mogul Candidate by giving you guys a chance to win my extra copy of NBA Live 2007 and trigger up to a $100 US Donation to a Charity of the Winner’s Choice so you too can experience what it feels like to give… The goal is to get to ONE HUNDRED ENTRIES so that I can match that with the $100 US Donation.
To make things even better, Gary Jones of BlueFur and Erin Berringer of Newport Business Media have both agreed to match Stephen’s generosity on a dollar-to-dollar basis, meaning that the potential donation coming out of this contest is a hefty $300! And that’s in addition to the three games. Great stuff guys. It’s always good to give back to the community.
Michael… I’m still alive!!!!
Thanks for the pimp Michael. It’s definitely time that we stop thinking about “Making Money Online” for a sec and concentrate on “Making a Difference Online”. I’ve never been a great volunteer or charity guy, but it’s never too late to learn 🙂
Awesome contest. I’m going to start running some charitable stuff soon too.
Wow this is a great contest idea, this hopefully will encourage other bloggers to do charitable acts.
NBA Live has been my favorite video game for years. I can still remember the first version which had to be 10 years ago?? Glad to see this contest!
