Some of you may know that I have been on vacation this past week, having time-stamped a number of blog posts so that it appears like I never went anywhere. Well, I finally managed to find myself some WiFi access to put up a “live post”, so to speak. I’ll give a fuller report on my vacation — taking the short cruise around the Los Angeles area — in a few future posts, but in the meantime, let me walk you through the tiny stateroom that we were assigned.
This was on board the Monarch of the Seas, one of the older boats among Royal Caribbean’s fleet. I don’t remember exactly, but it was in the neighbourhood of 120 square feet. Yes, it was tiny, but I didn’t spend all that much time in there anyways. In any case, check out the vid below and bask in its miniature-ality. On a side note, I still think I got a great value — it only cost me about $60 a night (including all food and on-board entertainment) — even if I don’t have a TV in the bathroom.
It can’t be that bad…you’re on vacation after all…on a cruise ship…me..on the other..hand..working hard..sweating n all !!
You should come to Japan! You could try a capsule hotel for half the price and 1/8 of the size!
Kumiko
One-eighth the size?!?!
Well in most asian countries it is so…
I think the MGM Skylofts shower is bigger than your entire room!
Sure seems that way. Yes, our stateroom was ridiculously small.
You’re on Vacation and talking about the cruise ship decor? What about the women? R U Gay or something?
Cosy is the word I think you are after!
