Can you believe it?! I’ve been vlogging each and every week for one whole year now and boy are my arms tired. Oh, I guess that joke doesn’t work here but I am indeed celebrating my “one year vlogiversary” today. It’s been quite the journey. I’ve compiled some highlights from the first half of the year, including that time we went to Los Cabos for vacation. Look at that smiling, seemingly well-rested face. I miss that guy.

What’s weird is that I am both a seasoned veteran and a wide-eyed newbie at all of this. My YouTube channel has been around for over a decade, but I didn’t adhere to a strict uploading schedule until I decided to start the vlog.

In fact, I didn’t even label the first couple of videos (our holiday party with Buddy and Buddy at FlyOver Canada, followed by our time taking the new Subaru Impreza onto the track) as “vlogs” at the time. It wasn’t until the third video, when we went to check out Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge that I made things official.

Along the way, I learned a lot of about video production and I had a lot of fun too. Probably one of my favorite videos was when we went on a field trip as part of the Vancouver Science Social. Remember that time I survived the hyperbaric chamber up at Simon Fraser University?

Thank you for celebrating my vlogiversary with me and thank you for coming along for the ride. If you missed any episodes along the way, you can catch up with all the vlogs on YouTube at your leisure too.
