I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m pretty excited about this! At long last, Beyond the Baby Babble: Surviving Life as a Work-at-Home Dad is available for purchase on Amazon and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The original plan was to have this book done by the time my daughter celebrated her first birthday. Time management is hard as a work-at-home dad. This week’s vlog pulls double-duty as a “book trailer” too.

As you might recall, I published my last book, Beyond the Margins, in December 2013. That book reflects many of the lessons learned from my years as a professional freelance writer.

In the case of Beyond the Baby Babble, it would not at all be accurate to say that I am positioning myself as any sort of real expert on the subject of parenting. Rather, it’s more about sharing the triumphs and challenges that come with being a work-at-home dad, exploring some of the hard questions I had to ask along the way. Like what is “muslin” exactly? And why do my in-laws think I’m incompetent?

You can pick up your copy of Beyond the Baby Babble on Amazon in paperback and Kindle now. It’s meant to be fairly light reading that also gets you think and reconsider your perspective on modern parenting. Because dads don’t babysit.

If you’re interested in getting a signed copy of Beyond the Baby Babble, send $15 via PayPal to books (at) michaelkwan.com, noting your mailing address, and I’ll get it out your way. That’s $15 US for American addresses and $15 Canadian for Canadian addresses, including shipping, to cover the difference in postage. For international orders, just drop me a note and we’ll figure out the postage on a case-by-case basis.

And if you could leave a honest review on the Amazon page, I’d be most appreciative. Thanks so much! Happy reading!
