Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 Tablet Unboxing Video

Samsung has developed a notorious habit for developing smartphones and tablets in just about every screen size imaginable. The original Samsung Galaxy S had a four-inch display, but that family has ballooned to include phones with 4.8-inch, 5.0-inch and even 5.7-inch displays in the case of the newest Galaxy Note 3. The same phenomenon can be seen in the tablet end of the product offering, as we can see here with the family of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 products.

This particular model is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, which naturally boasts a 10.1-inch display. The Tab 3 series also includes 7.0-inch and 8.0-inch variations. This creates a good deal of consumer choice, but I personally don’t like having numbers next to one another like that. Naming conventions aside, I will be doing a review of this product in the next little while. I had the opportunity to check it out briefly earlier in the summer, but using it as a “daily driver” is an entirely different kind of experience.

As a quick overview, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 has a 1280×800 pixel resolution and a 1.6GHz dual core processor, along with 16GB of flash storage, 1GB of RAM, microSD expansion slot, 3MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, free 50GB Dropbox cloud storage, built-in IR blaster, Polaris Office and SAFE Certification. It’s not exactly class-leading, but it looks like it’d get the job done quite handily. The Tab 3 10.1 sells for just under $400 online and I’ll be posting the full review on MEGATechNews.com some time in the next couple weeks or so.

In the meanwhile, check out the quick unboxing video I put together, which also includes a brief overview of the tablet itself, where the speakers are located and so on.
