Night Market in Cambodia (by Tyler Ingram)

Every Wednesday, I share five great blog posts that I found around the Internet. Let’s get right down to business.

Time is money, so it only makes sense to be as efficient as possible. To this end, Kevan Gilbert shares five tips for faster writing. He came up with this ideas under the context of his company blog at Domain7, but the advice is just as applicable to all sorts of other bloggers. I agree that brainstorming topics and making that list visible is a great way to get the creative juices flowing.

Next, we have Tyler Cruz who recently posted up his April earnings report. He nearly brought in $100,000 in affiliate marketing revenue and, after expenses, he was able to earn a net income of over $33,000. Considering that many people live on less than that in a year, I’d say that Mr. Cruz is doing quite well for himself. Wouldn’t you agree?

Turning to a different Tyler, we have Tyler Ingram. I may be in the middle of my first Europe trip, but Mr. Ingram spent quite a bit of time traveling through Southeast Asia and he still has more great things to share. Check out his post on Cambodia where he explores art workshops, Pub Street, night markets and a silk farm. And have you ever purchased a bag of cooked crickets by the bag?

Speaking of food, Buzz Bishop is ready to return to the Calgary Stampede again for some crazy deep fried food. When it’s county fair time, your diet plans go flying out the window. You have your staples like the (deep fried) corn dog, but the 2013 Stampede also has deep fried bubble gum, deep fried butter, deep fried Doritos and deep fried avocado.

And finally, Joanna Warwick helps us solve any problem in our lives in three simple steps. The first and arguably most important step is to be honest to yourself. The only way you can move forward is by accepting that uncomfortable truth. That way, you can finally address it in an honest and effective manner.
