Every Wednesday, I share some of the interesting blog posts that I’ve found on the Internet. They’re usually centered around personal blogs, but I oftentimes venture into some other realms too. This week, the topic areas from from online exploits to finding more time to do the things that you love.

We start our journey at Her Bad Mother, where she explains that she is trying to get her husband into blogging. The thing is that his blog categories are sounding more like Pinterest boards, reminding us that there is still a place on the Internet for men. She did start to wonder if there were any real “man boards” on Pinterest, though.

Speaking of the newest social network phenomenon, Buzz Bishop recently appeared on Global TV to talk about Pinterest and how it works. Even though the site is still quite female-centered, I have–for better or for worse–found myself with an account on there too. I’m sure I quite “get it” yet, but I’m willing to give it a fair shake.

Over on Free Money Finance, an excerpt has been posted from a book by Andrew Hallam. In it, we are reminded that you need to spend like you’re rich in order to build your wealth. The irony? Rich people tend to be remarkably frugal. You need to live below your means if you want to build up your savings.

When you face and overcome a personal challenge, you get a sense of self-satisfaction. Gretchen Rubin tells us that you can give your self-esteem the same kind of boost by helping others on a regular basis. Don’t wait for “someone else” to do good when you can be the person doing it. Do good and feel good.

There’s never enough time, but Dumb Little Man has ten ways for you to make better use of your time and “find more hours” in your day. You can start by waking up earlier, keeping the momentum going by being productive on your commute, reducing interruptions, and delegating some chores when you can.
