Whistler Peak to Peak (by Tyler Ingram)

With Christmas coming this weekend, I thought it would be appropriate to designate this week’s speedlink as the festive edition. Whether or not you have stockings hung by the chimney with care, you should enjoy some of the blog posts that I’m highlighting today. Cheers.

Tyler Ingram starts us off with his recent Whistler day trip. That’s where I managed to nab the photo above, in case you’re wondering, and Tyler has several other great pictures in his blog post if you want to check them out too. The ski season is definitely here.

Betshopboy continues with the theme of holiday trips by describing his vacation at the Genting Highlands. There’s no snow there, but he is off in Malaysia, after all. He’s enjoying several great hotels and theme parks in the mountain resort and, well, it’s quite different than the ski-topped hills we have here!

John Grohol knows that the holidays can be a great time to relax with your loved ones, but it’s also a time filled with headache. That’s why he has seven tips to smooth over your holiday stress. It might be a little late for the first tip though: plan early.

Tanya Desrosiers, who you may have previously known as Tanya Davis or currently as Netchick, has decided to keep this Christmas simple. Even so, this Christmas is special, because it’s the first that she is spending with your husband as a newly married couple. Yeah, that’s pretty special. 🙂

Terreece M. Clarke takes a more creative spin on the festivities by offering a freelance themed Christmas carol. Deck the blogs with tons of leads. Fa la la la la, la la la la! She’s encouraging you to add your own verse too. Care to give it a try?
