As this post goes live at 11am Vancouver time, I’m a few thousand feet up in the air on a plane heading home from Taiwan. I’ve been on the other side of the planet for about a week and a half, and as much as I like this place, I miss home.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so there are a few photos from my trip embedded below. You can also check out the video of our Agora Garden hotel suite, as well as the video I put together with a couple of Taipei food adventures.
If you ever have the chance to head over to Taipei, I highly recommend it. This is a great city with lots of great food and great sights to see. Just be aware that it may be challenging to find English speakers to help you on your way.

Michael, is it me or does everything and everyplace look immaculately clean? The train/subway looks like they could eat off the floor and the street view has no trash of any type. The game room looks like it is a clean room at Intel.
The cleaniless level is very similar to Singapore.
I don’t know if “clean” is the right word, but it is largely trash-free. Hard to find a garbage can on the street, actually.
