Last week, we approached such topics as unfollowing users on Twitter and earning your first dollar as a freelancer. This week, we take on another collection of blog posts with just as eclectic a topic list.

If you want to be featured in a future speedlink session, it would be in your best interest to follow me on Twitter and send a message when you feel it’s appropriate. This blog is a two-way street, after all.

Betshopboy went on a pre-launch preview of a theme park a little while back and now he’s been able to enjoy the rides at the newly opened Universal Studios Singapore. While there, he shot a couple of videos, featuring everything from Far Far Away Castle (Shrek) to the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster!

Ed Lau is a bit of a night owl, to put it mildly. As such, he’s always looking for a good place for a late night snack. On one of his more recent excursion, he paid a visit to Kim Penh Xe Lua on West Broadway. The pho was mediocre, but what can you expect at three in the morning?

Damien Riley may be better known around these parts as a blogger, but he has another set of skills too. Head down to the Grind in Apple Valley to enjoy the classic and modern rock acoustic stylings of the teacher and blogger. He’ll be there on Saturday, April 3rd from 8pm to 9:30pm.

Jon Lee is doing his part to reduce, reuse, and recycle. He had some nice gift boxes lying around from Louis Vuitton, so he fashioned a mini drawer set that is both fashionable and functional. I like to reuse containers and things too, since it feels like such a waste to throw them away.

Darren Barefoot has discovered one of the most valuable resources for Vancouver’s drivers. It’s a map of cheap parking in and around the city. The color-coded map will certainly come in handy the next time you go for a concert or hockey game!
