The man is the funniest philosopher in history. I grew up with Bill Cosby, and one of my most vivid memories is laying on the floor with my friends in front of the Hi-Fi with Bill Cosby albums spread all over the carpet in front of us, laughing our guts out. The beauty of his comedy is in his ability to take everyday truths and situations and blow them hilariously out of proportion (The VW Bug, bouncing across the snowbank with a family of 12, and getting 300 miles to the gallon while he's digging out his Mercedes) and not a SINGLE profane word in the entire routine.
"And if you're not careful, you may learn something before it's done."
