Work as you say is relative to what you do. I have a fixed schedule that revolves around the school day. When school is not in session I still work those same hours expect during the summer, which happens to be 4 days M-Th 7 till 5. Now that might seem like a lot, but I have a lot to do, I'm not bored and I get a lot more accomplished in the 4 days than I do while school is in session.

Does that mean I want to work 4 day weeks all the time? NO!

My personal life takes a hit during the week, with having to take care of 2 children my day is sleep, work, kids, sleep. While my weekend is longer, Friday tends to be a sleep in day and Sunday night is an early to bed night.

So everything is relative to what you do for a living and your perception of what is important to yourself.
