At the same time, you don’t want to get pigeon-holed into just a single niche, because it means that you’ll have a very difficult time branching out into other areas. It seems that Taylor Swift, despite her relative popularity, is ready to reach out to a whole new demographic: the hip hop community.
The 19-year-old singer and songwriter may be better known for her country pop hits, but she has apparently tried her hand at rapping too. She isn’t really into the hardcore gangster rap of the mid-1990s, instead taking the “pop” hip hop route via a collaboration with Auto-Tune extraordinaire T-Pain. You’ve probably heard her single “Love Story” on the radio, but that has now been adapted to become “Thug Story.” She’s so ‘hood! Don’t mess with her, bro!
