Personally, I think taking giant leaps will never result in success if a person or a company does not have the substance to substantiate the "marketing hyperbole".

In the case of the iPhone, the huge success was also achieved on the back of over 30 years of innovations and brand building by Apple Inc.

You've also got to remember to crawl or leap in the right direction. In online business, it is so easy to go backwards, go sideways, or to think that you're going forward when you're really standing still.

Speaking of Twitter, I hope they try to keep moving forward. They've been getting some flak about some recent changes they made (not sure what...I don't really follow Twitter news), so hopefully that plus any potential changes regarding advertising will not hurt them.

What you point out in this post is that the method you take depends on the circumstances. You need to weigh each opportunity in its context of the time, your standing, your needs, the possible vacuum that you could fill.

A lot of decisions to make, but all of them important and all of which determine which way to go, baby or giant steps.
