So I came and joined. I think what happened is ... an e-mail got scheduled to go out at the closing of the contest. I replied within 4 minutes of the time on the e-mail and legitimately thought I was joining a new contest that started at that time. It would seem strange to get an e-mail inviting me to join a contest that already closed; I assumed the e-mail was correct and that I should join starting at that time. I got an e-mail on 6/13 at 9:00am PDT inviting me to join in the contest “By this Saturday” it said. So I came and joined.
