Now more than ever I find it very to even come up with money to pay the bills and feed my family. Working 2 jobs, getting up at 5am, getting home at 8pm most days and working Saturdays doesn't leave much time for family.

If I can I will give a dollar or five to the food bank once a month. I can't afford anymore without not feeding my own family.

I don't think that anyone can expect anymore from people in this economy that are working class citizens. The really rich, like Bill Gates give a lot of money away to charity each year. Whereas there are people that have money that seem to not give a lot.

We have a wealthier population here in Sarasota and they are very giving. There are a lot of charity events here and awareness is high, which is because the more wealthy influential people push the events.

Everyone needs to help, but the people that have the means need to step up to pull their weight.
