[...] You’re intimidated. We blog in the shadow of giants — bright and cunning bloggers who have been doing it longer, command all the readership and clearly have more fun than the rest of us. This should intimidate you as a new blogger, but it should also drive you to learn everything you can about them, their stories and their methods. What you learn will make you stronger and smarter, and before you know it you’ll be up there too. See also: Power of the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. [...]

Michael,

Great post. I enjoyed your positive approach. Worry never solved any problem. Procrastination is even worse, as you are lying to yourself that you intend to do something.

Analyze your gifts, apply them to your goals. Make a list of the most difficult to accomplish tasks first, then finish the easy ones as the day goes on.

I am planning a massive donation launch next week. Nate of Unique Blog Designs has been asked to design the web pages and donation button. Others are coming on board.

Beneficiaries? KIDS! More to follow as we launch..

Respectfully,

Nicholas Chase - 'the video guy' from BlogWorld Expo

Good point. Isn't it interesting how we kinda already know these things but we don't think about them when we should see we're being negative about something. Something to keep in mind on my next venture.

This is very true in so many aspects of life....It's certainly true with a negative attitude, but for it to work in a positive manner, I'm not so sure it always holds true though.

Excellent post, Michael.

Your final sentence is perfect. The simple things like a smile and somebody asking how your day has been are always good for cheering you up.
