		<description>Interesting that they have an RFID tag embeded in the card. Guess they can track your wereabouts wherever an RFID tag is installed to look for the particular NEXUS card signature huh?

		<description>1. As far as I know, yes, you have to provide a credit card. If you don't, they have no way of automatically charging you for taxes and duties.

2. The card does not automatically renew. There is a separate renewal process, but I think it's essentially the same as applying in the first place. There's just less of an educational component.

3. Yes, you have to pay $50 again.</description>

		<description>I head south at least once a month and have thought about using Nexus but my preferred border crossing (Aldergrove) doesn't have a Nexus lane. Using another crossing would eat up any saved time with using Nexus and be replaced with additional driving time.</description>
