Beyond the Rhetoric

Michael-Free Dot Com Pho

May 18th, 2008 by Michael Kwan

Seeing how the self-proclaimed root of all evil John Chow is over in Shanghai hunting baby pandas, some people may have thought that Dot Com Pho would not go ahead as usual. These people would be wrong.

Stephen Fung took over the directorial chair for this week’s Dot Com Pho (he actually produced the first one. Check out the archives at DotComPho.com for proof of that) and the net result is a totally different take on what usually goes down at Pho Lan every Saturday at 12:30. The video also explains the real reason why John Chow is over in Shanghai this week.

I couldn’t make it out to pho this week either. I was too busy, according to Ed Lau, convincing customs that I am not a terrorist. Look for a little better explanation on that in the next few days.

Anyways, embedded below is the first ever widescreen edition of Dot Com Pho. I wonder what innovations will be presented next week…
