Nice read. I've been enjoying this lifestyle the past 5 years and have been working from home the past 9. Yes, there are tons of freedom and basically you get to control every aspect of your life, unlike living by the 9-5 clock.

I've been fortunate to spend every waking moment with our daughters, take tons of vacation time and enjoy what I do.

I wish everyone can enjoy the same.

p.s. be prepared to really master time management though :)

Oh, and the time to get edumacated on different subjects that I never got around to when I was in school like "trying" to speak mandarin classes and taking much "gooder" pictures classes ;)

How did I get here? Google Adsense.
How will I stay here? Fingers crossed, Google Adsense.

Combine popular websites with Google ads and you've got a reliable source of income, with minimum effort on the part of the webmaster. Google isn't going anywhere, and Adsense is becoming more relevant, useful and less spammy for your visitors.

I think people are too quick to abandon Google's offering in the chase for high-paying ads, instead of focusing on a longterm strategy for building up an Adsense income, penny by penny.
