This Buzz thing reminds me a lot of the Technorati front page. It's kind of a snapshot of what the web is "thinking about," rather than (specifically) what users are submitting and voting on, like Digg.

Anyway, I think these Yahoo cats are a pretty smart bunch. They've got a well-hidden section called &lt;a href="http://next.yahoo.net/" rel="nofollow"&gt;next&lt;/a&gt;, where their developers post about sweet projects they're working on. My fave is "&lt;a href="http://next.yahoo.net/archives/32/easylistener" rel="nofollow"&gt;easy listener&lt;/a&gt;," which is an MP3 widget that I've already implemented on &lt;a href="http://kev.elbowroomdesign.com/music/" rel="nofollow"&gt;my site&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.ugm.ca/resources/multimedia/Audio.aspx" rel="nofollow"&gt;UGM's site&lt;/a&gt;.</description>
