Winner of the Video Game Contest

February 15th, 2008 by Michael Kwan

The original goal for the video game contest was just to get over the 200 subscriber hump for Beyond the Rhetoric and to keep it over the 200 mark. As you can see from the widget, we quite easily accomplished this goal and then some. According to Feedburner, 265 people accessed the Beyond the Rhetoric feed yesterday. This is an all-time high for this blog, so I’d like to thank you all for that.

As you recall, I said that I would have a second prize — a black BlogHaus t-shirt from CES 2008 — if we managed to get 50 or more entries in the contest. Well, we accomplished that feat, so today, I’ll be announcing not one winner, but two. Winners were selected at random using the tool at Random.org.

The lucky winner of the BlogHaus t-shirt is… JOSHUA DENNEY!

And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Who will take home a copy of Pirates of the Burning Sea for their PC gaming pleasure?

The winner of the big prize is… MYNX! (no username or URI provided)

A hearty congratulations goes out to both winners. Be sure to check your e-mail for a message from me. If I don’t get your mailing address within the next week or so, I’ll have to draw an alternate winner.

Thanks again to everyone that entered. I love forward to hosting more contests on Beyond the Rhetoric in the future.
