Another Cloverfield Commercial

December 21st, 2007 by Michael Kwan

We were teased at Transformers. Later on, we found out that Cloverfield is more than codename. And now the marketing machine is in full churn, because JJ Abrams and the rest of team behind Cloverfield have geared up a whole advertising campaign for the monster movie set for release on 01-18-08 (that’s January 18, 2008, which is less than a month away).

What you see above is a commercial that has been airing on TV, promoting the monster movie. Is it Godzilla all over again, but written for a North American audience? Is it a metaphor for the events of 9/11? Whatever the case, I have to watch this movie.
