It’s been a pretty crazy week for me, partly because of the 90% off paid review sale that I am holding. The first three reviews are now live and the people who ordered them sound pretty happy with the results. I’m glad. Now I just need to fumble my way through the next batch. For anyone still in the queue, don’t worry! I haven’t forgotten about you. Add these paid reviews to my regular load as a freelance writer and you can see why I don’t exactly have time to separate work and play.

Anyways, let’s have a look at what’s going on in the blogosphere.

The Million Euro Wiki has been doing quite well, but it suddenly got a heck of a lot better. They’ve launched a fairly lucrative affiliate program. The sticker price on a Million Euro Wiki page is $100, but you can save $10 by using the coupon code MichaelKwan. Then, the affiliate program kicks in, providing you with a custom coupon code of your own. Each time someone buys a page using that code, you receive $30 in affiliate income. If you refer just three sales, your initial purchase has already paid for itself and anything after that is PURE PROFIT! Use MichaelKwan as your coupon code! On a side note, I’ve purchased the page for the term Blog. I haven’t really updated it yet, but I will. I promise.

Contest Blogger is rocking a whole new theme and layout, giving the front page to the Contest Blogger Forums. This way, users can promote contests on their own without the divine intervention of the Contest Blogger himself. Phil’s been inundated with dozens of requests and he just can’t keep up, so he’s decided to cut out the middleman (himself). Featured contests will still be blogged and will still show up in the RSS feed.

Brian Heys is asking if you’re curious about preserving your blog after death. No, he’s not talking about when a server fails or when your Internet connection goes down; he’s talking about actual death. Seeing how most domains (and web hosting) is renewed on an annual basis — I don’t think most providers would go much further than maybe five years — what will happen to all your beautiful blog posts after you buy the farm, kick the bucket, or cash in all your chips. Will your survivors keep your blog alive the same way that old documents have been preserved and passed down?

Odyssey reminds us that the Internet is still a great adventure. You may start out on one blog reading about a dot com poser, but mere moments later, you’re watching a hilarious video on YouTube of some poor sap crying over Britney Spears. It’s amazing what backlinks can do.

Ed Lau is perpetually on the search for all things awesome, but his latest YouTube find might not exactly be classified as awesome. Instead, he calls it the weirdest rave ever. Like, seriously, who would want to party to something like that? “Ba-thump, thump, thump” just took on a whole new meaning.

And finally, Mr. Gary Lee, with the help of Ms. Danielle, is finally ready to reveal the winner of the iPhone giveaway and he’s doing it through a video. It’s the good life… but not good enough, because I didn’t win. Then again, I guess I’ve won enough already.
