The Hockey Blog Name Winner

… will be announced tomorrow. Yes, I realize that many of you have been anxiously waiting for the announcement. As you recall, a random draw was held at the beginning of this month for the blue 4GB iPod nano. Ed and I did a video, awarding the Apple music player to Jessica Yu. That was a random draw for everyone who put up a post on their respective blogs, following the backlink rules. Another hearty congratulations to Jessica. You definitely deserve it for all your effort.

The bigger prize, however, would be awarded to the person who suggested the best hockey blog domain. After sifting through the over 300 suggestions, Ed and I have finally decided on which domain we’re going to use. It’s been purchased and hosting is being arranged with BlueFur web hosting, the same guys who ask how big is your package.

The domain name is pretty freaking awesome if you ask me. The next step will be to put together an appropriate kick-ass Wordpress theme design and header image; if you have any suggestions on that front, feel free to comment below. On a side note, we want to have a hockey pool to go with the blog too. Yes, there will be prizes.

Anyways, Ed and I will be announcing the 8GB iPod nano winner tomorrow after dot com pho.

Oh, and Go Canucks Go! It’s the good ol’ hockey game.

      I think there should be a few header images and not just one main header image so that whenever someone goes to the site, the header image will change. :)

      Michael, did you and Ed ever get my e-mail with my mailing address?
