I understand what Gary is saying because I will often set the bar higher than is comfortable and is probably pushing the limit of actually being attainable. But I do think that adds extra motivation to try and reach new heights.

I did that this year with my finances as I set a very aggressive goal for increasing my net worth. If I make it to the goal it will be an outstanding year but even if I do fall a little short, I'll have surpassed what I might have set as more cautious goal.

As Gdog said, you have just to ignore your RSS and you can SERIOUSLY put it on AutoPilot by just writing quality posts. Just let it take enough time and I'm sure you will be satisfied with the results. This worked for me personally. Try and tell me your results.

Sometimes the best way to increase your RSS subscribers is to ignore it altogether! If you keep writing quality posts people will subscribe to your feed...but if you're thinking too much about it, you'll go crazy. ;)

I know a lot of business coaches and they say that you should set an unachievable goal. If you want to get 10,000 RSS subscribers then you will be thinking and acting different then if you were to try and get 150.

I understand as a fellow realest that 10,000 may not be achievable but you will definitely increase your RSS if you are reaching for 10,000.
