And the Winner of the iPod Nano is…
September 3rd, 2007 by Michael KwanHere it is. The moment you’ve all been waiting for. At the beginning of August, Ed and I announced that we’d be starting a hockey blog together, but we needed some help with choosing the right name. So, we held a contest wherein we would give away a pair of iPod nanos.
The 8GB nano would go to the person who provided the best suggestion — we’re still deciding on that, so bear with us — while the 4GB nano would be given away in a random draw. As I noted yesterday, we did the random draw in the parking lot after dot com pho on Saturday.
We could have been professional about it. We could have written a script. But things are just more fun when we wing it.
Congratulations to the winner! (You have to watch the video, I’m not going to type out the name of the winner here.) There’s a couple of announcements in the second half of the video, so be sure to check that out too.
A huge hearty thank you to everyone who participated and we’ll try to choose the 8GB iPod nano winner soon. A couple of extra thanks to Greg Morgan for filming our horribly disorganized video, John Chow for being an impartial third party, and Stephen Fung for providing some hilarity.
