July 5th, 2007 by Michael Kwan

Video games are notorious for having a never-ending supply of glitches. Hardcore players are always on the look-out for said glitches. Here’s one from Super Mario 64 that’ll get your head scratching.

And here’s another. This time, it’s the “repetitive cannon”.

    1. As a software engineer, I know why it happens – the hit/collision boxes between two walls do not intersect, thus there is a gap, and it’s possible to force the player between those. Usually it should be tested, but probably the game was rushed to the shelves. Anyway, it really ads something to the gameplay, doesn’t it? :)

Is the canon really a glitch? I mean he was purposely aiming the canon to where he knew it would land back in the canon. Is the glitch the fact that it bounces off of nothing?

    3. I love mario. Just downloaded Super Mario 64 and all the original NES Mario games the other day on Wii… will try these glitches out.

Yea Mario never gets old. That water glitch is weird

    5. I love mario, its one of my favorite games ever.
