I usually try and make sure all my blog posts read well, but some of the reviews I have had done for the blog are just hideous in grammar. One would really expect at least a spell check when paying for a service.

Nice article but I think you forgot one : “their” vs “there”. I know Shoemoney has that problem, I even saw it on JohnChow and other sites also.

Even some of the American friends I have, use there instead of their.

The semicolon is something many dont know where to use in a sentence.. The change of tense problems occur in long articles where one may tend to lose concentration during the course of the passage
