Hmm… maybe I should move my feed over to FeedBurner… But, first, I think I’ll do some .htaccess “magic” to make it so the URL won’t change… Hmm…

Also, it has been recommended that not to use direct links to feedburner on your blog. It is always better to use a redirect, so that even if feedburner goes down the subscribers will remain..

That is what makes this plugin important

I found this a while ago and really thought it was a great idea. Been using it for a while.

It also takes some load off of the server that the blog is on as it streams from feedburner.

I would have to agree with Vijay.

If you ask me your subscribers increased because of your content not to the fact that they had other links as feed.

I’ve been using the feedburner feed replacement plugin for a long time now and since it was bought by Feedburner and became feedsmith, I’ve used it as well.

I dont think using this will increase the RSS subscribers, It certainly wont make more people subscribe to the blog. But it does ensure that the correct stats are shown..
