Earlier this month, John Chow put up on his post talking about people who use their names as their domains. I, for example, fall under this categorization, because I use MichaelKwan.com for my freelance writing business, and btr.michaelkwan.com for my blog. This is one of the requirements, it seems, to being proclaimed a dot com mogul.

In any case, I’m finally getting around to spreading the word about this list, so here it is. Feel free to add yourself and your friends to this list, putting up a blog entry in your own chunk of internet real estate.

1) Write a short introduction paragraph about what how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.

2) COPY the ENTIRE List below and add it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the number of keywords associated with your site, go ahead and change the titles of the blogs. Just don’t change the links of the blogs.

3) Take “My Adds” and move them into the “My Originals” list.

4) Add 3 Brand New Narcissistic Bloggers that you know of

I’ve received a few linkbacks from this scheme, boosting my Technorati ranking just a touch. It’s certainly worth your while to spend a few moments to repost this list on your blog. Enjoy the SEO love!

Update (4/19/07): Inspired by Hannes Johnson, I’ve changed the anchor text on a few links to something more appropriate. I’m “freelance writing” now, whereas John Chow is “root of all evil”, and so on. Good idea Hannes!
