Beyond the Rhetoric

If it’s the title that got your attention, you should be ashamed of yourself (but thanks for stopping by).

In my journeys through the internet, I come across many strange things. There are people that re-enact classic video games, some that find interesting ways to mow the lawn, and — speaking for myself — stories of crows flying into homes. There’s also a lot of cute, funny moments that are captured in time (and they’re made even funnier with creative captions). I couldn’t stop laughing when I came across this website filled with pictures of kittens and cats in the strangest of situations.

The website is called Knitemare, and while the rest of the site wasn’t particularly interesting, the “cats” section will have you in stitches. From a cat dressed up as juggernaut to one that thinks he’s a ninja, there’s much hilarity to be enjoyed. Here are a few that stood out in my mind:

These are particularly amusing to any of you who spend too much on random forums like Revscene.net and Offtopic.com, as they make use of stupid little internet slang terms like LOLZ, BRB, and “I hate this threadz”.
